You may not know of Grayling, Michigan, but this little river town is where I spent summers with family. Romping on the waters and chasing canoe races, Grayling hosts memories of a simpler time. When Paddle Hard Brewing was looking for someone to add some color to their new Outdoor Beer Yard, I was honored to work with them.
Paddle hard is centered around the canoe culture in Grayling. This culture is a product of the two main rivers that run through town and its surroundings - The AuSable and Manistee Rivers. This mural is inspired by these rivers and the colorful life that surrounds them.

“It was busy. We were pretty impressed with how many people showed up,” Krupp said.
Through a mutual acquaintance, Paddle Hard Brewing secured a “very talented” painter to complete the inside and outside artwork and murals at Paddle Hard Yard, Krupp said.
